This is the site of an old brick schoolhouse. The most impressive part, a large spiral slide that was attached to the building, allowing kids to slide out of the building in an emergency. The slide is still there - see if you can find it! (Take the trail up from Harding Spring or above Sweet Spring.) You can drive close, but you will need to park and walk to this area.
